Anthony " Tony" Wade Vaughn, 59 of Tuxedo passed away Tuesday April 10, 2007 at the Brian Center. He was the son of the late William D and Janie Mason Vaughn. A native of Henderson County he was a U.S. Army veteran having served in Vietnam and a carpenter. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include : two sons Tony Vaughn and Mark Vaughn both of Rosman NC, three brothers Mike Vaughn, Gary Vaughn both of Tuxedo and Chris Vaughn of Mills River, one sister Sandy Vaughn of Tuxedo, a granddaughter of Serena Vaughn of Rosman NC and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 7:45pm Friday April 13, 2007 in the Chapel in the Pines of Jackson Funeral Service with the Rev. Harold McKinnish officiating. The family will receive friends 45 minutes prior to the service in the chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to : Four Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care, 571 S. Allen Road, Flat Rock NC 28731. Jackson Funeral Service and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
