Russell J. Timko, 84, of Hendersonville, died Sunday, January 06, 2008 at the Elizabeth House. He was the son of the late Joseph Paul Timko and Mabel Verdell Peterson Timko and was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Timko and a sister, Shirley Czosek. He was a US Marine Veteran of WWII, a member of the Hubert M. Smith V.F.W. Post #5206 and an active member of the Rotary Club. He is survived by his loving companion, Juanita Hack; three sons, Barry Timko and wife Deborah of Littleton, CO, Bruce Timko and wife Sally of Rockledge, Florida and Brian Timko and wife Leslie of Bar Harbor, Maine; a daughter, Bonnie Bole and husband Tom of San Antonio, TX; ten grandchildren, Kevin Stelter, Darren Stelter, Robyn Fuder, Blair Blycker, Jared Timko, Leah Kaselak, Maxwell Timko, Katherine Timko, Jeremiah Douglas and Ammi Gouge eight great-grandchildren, Amanda Stelter, Dillon Stelter, Katherine Blycker, Robyn Blycker, Kenny Blycker, Anna Fuder, Audrey Fuder and Ryan Douglas. A private service was held for close family members. Memorials may be made to Four Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care; 571 South Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731. Jackson Funeral Service and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
