Frances Fraulein Revis Stepp, of Dana, NC passed away peacefully at The Laurels of Hendersonville, Wednesday, November 7, 2007, after a long illness. She was a resident of Henderson County for most of her life and was the daughter of the late Lawrence Edwin Revis and Roberta Edney Revis and preceded in death by her husband Gene Stuart Stepp Sr. She was a member of Refuge Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for 50 years. She is survived by; two sons, Gene Stuart Stepp Jr. and wife Salley of Brevard and Philip Stepp and wife Lisa of East Flat Rock; three daughters, Debby Folk and husband Perry of Greenville, Sharon Hardin and husband Dorman of Dana, and Laura Carswell of Dana; two sisters, Barbara Fowler and husband Charles of Waynesville and Nancy Mason and husband Fred of Gulf Shores, Alabama; one brother-in-law, J. H. Stepp Jr. and wife Yvonne of Hendersonville; four sisters-in-law, Elise Worley, Lucille Ray, Edwin "Gem" Garren and Betty Stepp all of Hendersonville,; ten grandchildren, Eric and John Folk, Stu and wife Sarah, Simon, Jessica and Caitlin Stepp, Everett and Ethan Hardin, Josh Burrell and Raymond Pierce; one great granddaughter, Emmaline Stepp and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 12:00 pm Friday, November 09, 2007 at Refuge Baptist Church with Rev. Alvin Melton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services in the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Refuge Baptist Church at: P.O. Box 36, Dana, N.C. 28724.
