Dorothy C. Simerly, 81, of Fletcher, NC went to be with the Lord, Monday, February 04, 2008. She was the daughter of the late John and Sara Griffith and was preceded in death by her husband, Lem Simerly and a good friend Flave Merrill. She had lived in Henderson County since 1976 coming from Virginia. Dorothy was a true friend and will be missed dearly. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, February 08, 2008 at the Chapel In The Pines of Jackson Funeral Service with Rev. Bill Brackett officiating. Burial will follow in the Little River Baptist Church Cemetery.
