Carl N. Patterson, 61, formerly of Rutherfordton passed away Sunday, March 26, 2006 at Pardee Hospital. He was a native of Henderson County, was the son of the late Avery and Lucy Mae Miller Patterson and was preceded in death by three brothers, Johnny, Andrew and Sherman Patterson and a sister, Thelma Patterson. He love to fish and collect firearms. He is survived by his son, Robert Patterson and wife Jeanne of Rutherfordton; two daughters, Mary Ann Black and boyfriend Dale Hensley of Rutherfordton and Daine Aldrich and boyfriend John Poole of Ellenboro; five brothers, James, U. G., Monroe, William, Frank and Ronnie all of Hendersonville; four sisters, Neillie Gilbert of Zirconia, Margaret Stepp of Dana, Ann Myers of Vero Beach, Florida and Sara (Janie) Loftin of Fairview; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 10 am Thursday, March 30, 2006 at Holly Springs Baptist Church. Jackson Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
