Lewis Coleman Norris, 63, of Easley, S.C., died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2006, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He had lived in Transylvania County most of his life and was the son of the late George and Evie Norris and was preceded in death by a brother, Brisco Norris and a sister Emily Llauget. He is survived by his loving wife of seven and a half years, Ruby Norris; one son, Bobby Norris of Pennsylvania; four step-sons, Mark, Dan, Billy and Tony Worthy, all of North Carolina; four daughters, Carolyn Owen of Brevard, Sharon Owen of Franklin, Kim McCall of Rosman and Marilyn Galloway of Pisgah Forest; two stepdaughters, Kim Sterling of Anderson, S.C., and Marie Masters of North Carolina; four brothers, Willis Norris of Liberty, S.C., and George Norris of Cleveland, S.C., Frank Norris of Penrose and Charles Norris of Blantyre; one sister, Susan Daves of Pickens, S.C.; 19 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Chapel In The Pines of Jackson Funeral Service. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:30 to 3 p.m. in the chapel.
