Margaret R. Nicholson, 70, of Etowah, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2006 at the Elizabeth House. She was born in Buncombe County and lived in Henderson County for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late William C. Rogers and Beryl B. Teague and was preceded in death by a brother, William R. Rogers and a sister, Helen P. Black. She is survived by her husband, John Richard Nicholson; one brother, Robert Rogers of Etowah; an aunt, Maude Roberson of Leicester and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2 pm Thursday, April 20, 2006 at Etowah Baptist Church with Rev. Eric Henderson and Dr. John Rhymer officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Forest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Jackson Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Four Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care at: 571 S.
