Paula Wright Miller, 67 of Flat Rock passed away Wednesday June 06, 2007 at the Elizabeth House. A native of Henderson County she was the daughter of the late Robert and Pauline West Bishop, and the wife of Charles P. Miller of Flat Rock. She was the owner and operator of Paula's Floral Design and a member of Upward Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one son, Richard Lee Hood. In addition to her husband survivors include one son Carl Dewey Hood III, one daughter Konda Hood Smith and her husband Clyde, three step sons, William Larry Wright, Bill Miller and his wife Kathy, and Roderic Miller, three step daughters, Gwendoyln Davis and her husband Brian, Karol Wright, and Kathy Bryce and her husband Clyde. Two sisters Beverly E. Sterling and her husband Frank and Elaine R. Gwyn and her husband Jim, ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday 11 am at the Chapel in the Pines of Jackson Funeral Service with the Rev. Paul Chandler officiating . The family will receive friends one half hour prior to the service in the chapel. private inurnment will be held at a later date. Jackson Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
