Tim McCrary, 53, of Hendersonville, NC passed away Sunday, December 16, 2007 at the Elizabeth House after a period of declining health. He was the son of the late Troy O'Dell McCrary and Rhonda Lockaby McCrary. He was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, an avid hunter and enjoyed working in his garden. He is survived by a brother, Mike McCrary and wife Teresa of Hendersonville, a sister Rita McCrary Scott and husband Bob of Port St. Lucie, Fl, a special niece, Kathy McCrary, two nephews, Eli Laughter and Rob Scott, a step-mother, Christine Hill McCrary of Hendersonville, many, many friends including two close friends, Kelly Bennett and Bear Wright. A funeral will be held 10:00 am, Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at the Chapel In The Pines of Jackson Funeral Service with Rev. Mark Hunnicutt officiating. Burial will follow at Crab Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Glenn Collins will serve as honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends from one hour prior to services in the chapel and at other times will be at the home of Mike and Teresa McCrary.
