Marie Jones McCrain, 83, of Hendersonville passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at the Elizabeth House. She was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County the daughter of the late John Landrum Jones and Nora Mae Maxwell Jones and was preceded in death by her husband, Hardin McCrain. She is survived by two sons, Roy McCrain and wife Cheryl and Don McCrain and wife Sara all of Hendersonville, a daughter, Bobbie Pace and husband Joe of Hendersonville, a sister, Callie McCraw of Hendersonville, five grandchildren, Chris Pace and wife Molly of Knoxville, TN, Ryan Pace and wife Nga of Hendersonville, Cara Hackett and husband Shawn of Inman, SC, Erin Maybin and husband Justin of Hendersonville and Laura Barnwell and husband Will of Mineral Wells, TX, three great grandsons and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, March 23, 2007 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Dale Gilbert officiating. The family will be at her home. Memorials may be made to Four Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care, 571 S. Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731. Jackson Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
