Ruth Beddingfield McCarson, 81, of Zirconia, NC passed away Thursday, January 24, 2008 at the Elizabeth House. She was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County the daughter of the late Lemuel and Leila Capps Beddingfield. She was a member of Tuxedo First Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Raymond McCarson; a daughter, Linda M. McMurray and husband Kirk of Flat Rock; two brothers, A. J. Beddingfield and Max Beddingfield both of Tuxedo; two sisters, Maude Harris of Tuxedo and Eula DeSoto of Ball, LA; two grandsons, Roger McMurray and wife Renn and Matthew McMurray and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, January 26, 2008 at the Tuxedo First Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mikell Bennett officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Elizabeth House, 581 S. Allen Road, Flat Rock, N.C. 28731. Jackson Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
