Kenneth Carey Maxwell, of Fletcher North Carolina went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 1, 2007. He passed away at the age of 60 with his family by his side. He was an employee of Alcan Company for 25 years. He was preceded in death by his parents William Carey Maxwell and Atheleda Melton Maxwell, as well as his three brothers, Ralph, Claude, and Reggie Maxwell. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Wanda Ross Maxwell, his children; Kendra Maxwell Aylett and husband Justin from Fort Mill S.C.; Kelsey Maxwell; Kayla Maxwell; only son Carey Maxwell and only granddaughter, the love of his life Kimisa Guyline Buchanan, to whom he gave the special name "Little Bit". He is also survived by his siblings Myrtle Holbert; Grover Maxwell; Volley Maxwell and his wife Martha; Harriett Lunsford and husband Jerry, Frankie Maxwell and wife Linda and numerous nieces and nephews. The Family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday January 3rd from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Jackson Funeral Service. A memorial service will be Thursday January 4th at 2 pm at Fletcher First Baptist church on Hwy 25 @ Cane Creek Rd., Fletcher N.C. In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to the Maxwell Family to help pay for expenses.
