Nancy Plummer Long, 72, of Mills River, NC passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at her home. She was a native and lifelong resident of Transylvania County, the daughter of the late Francis Marion Plummer and Eva Whitmire Plummer. She is survived by two sons, Allen Singleton and wife Patsy of Arden and Jack Singleton and wife Joan of Mills River; one daughter, Susan Wright and husband Sandy of Redondo Beach, California; one step-son, Steve Long and wife Sherry of Etowah; one step-daughter, Brenda Mosley of Hendersonville, NC; a brother, Henry Plummer of Jacksonville, Florida; a half brother, Joe McDonald and wife Sheila of Boynton Beach, Florida; five grandchildren, Kevin, Jonathan, Chad, Megan and Justin and three great-grandchildren, Kyla, Braden and Samuel. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, October 5, 2007 at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Jimmy Fanning officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nancy's name to the Educational Building Fund of Grace Baptist Church, 120 McLean Road, Brevard, NC 28712. Jackson Funeral Service and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
