Mae Miller Jones, 78, of Hendersonville, NC went to be with the Lord, Friday, May 25, 2007 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Craig and Edna Lapnow Miller and was preceded in death by her husband, Cooledge “BC” Jones and a sister, Elizabeth Kane. She had lived in Henderson County for the past 40 years, retired from Berkley Mills after 17 years of service and had also worked for Subway and Avis. She was an avid Bingo Player and a member of Mtn. View Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, David Jones of Flat Rock and Maurice “Moe” Jones and wife Sandy of Hendersonville; four daughters, Edna Mae Coggins and husband Larry of Hendersonville, Pauline Ann Hill and husband Donald of Mills River, Linda Frances Laughter and husband Larry of Flat Rock and Irene Dorothy Middleton and husband Dean of Mills River; three brothers, Eddie, Craig and Royal; three sisters, Irene, Evelyn and Henrietta; twenty two grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, May 28, 2007 at Mtn. View Baptist Church with Rev. Mike McMillion, Rev. Wayne Owen and Rev. Chris Pace officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6:30 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home and at other times will be at the home of Edna and Larry Coggins.
