Emily Osteen Glover Jones, 97, of Hendersonville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 23, 2007 at Ivy Hill. She was a daughter of the late Kimsey and Nona Osteen. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Keith Glover and Ernest Jones, by her sisters: Etta Johnson, Ethel Lockaby, Ludith Lindsey and Geneva Case, by her brothers: Mas Osteen and France Osteen and also by her beloved son, Dois Lee Glover and her baby girl. She is survived by sons, Williams K Glover and wife, Glenda, Charles Glover and wife, Linda, Gallileo Jones and wife, Cindy, all of Hendersonville, and Ernest K. Jones and wife, Pat, of Oklahoma, and Mildred (Cricket) Glover, wife of deceased son, Dois Lee, and one daughter, Kathleen Robinson and husband, Charles, of Etowah, one sister, Sina Capps of Hendersonville, three brothers, Daniel Osteen of Hendersonville, Rev. Fred Osteen of Brevard and Rev. Galileo Osteen of Hendersonville, 22 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 9great-great grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held at Mount Olivet Baptist Church, where she was a faithful member and servant her whole life, on Monday, March 26th at 3:00 pm with the Revs. John Saunders, Charles Glover, Jr. and Steven Glover officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church and Sunday night from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at the funeral home and will also be at the home of Charles Glover. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Mount Olivet Church Po Box 488, Zirconia, NC 28790.
