Christine Jones, 78 of Flat Rock went home to be with the Lord on Thursday February 23, 2006 at the Elizabeth House. A resident of Henderson County for the past 42 years, she was the daughter of the late Hubert Lancaster and Lona Shultz Lancaster and the wife of Clyde Jones of Flat Rock. She was preceded in death by a step son Roy Jones. She was a member of Upward Baptist Church and had retired from Kimberly Clark Corp. In addition to her husband survivors include 3 sons, Melton Bradburn of Arden, Lynn Bradburn of Leicester, and Scott Bradburn of Hendersonville, one step son, Earl Jones of Hendersonville, 1 daughter, Becky Maybin of East Flat Rock, 3 step daughters Sarah Gardner of Charleston S.C., Brenda Hensley of Tuxedo and Rita Jones of Edneyville and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Sunday 2pm at Jones Cemetery with Pastor Richard Gardner and Pastor Tony Galloway officiating.
