Jack Wesley Jarvis Sr., 79, of Hendersonville, NC died Friday, June 1, 2007 at Autumn Care of Saluda. He was the son of the late Frank O. Jarvis and Daisy LeBear Jarvis. He had lived in Boynton Beach, Florida for 40 years, Henderson County for the past six years, served in the U S Army and was of the Methodist Faith. He is survived by two sons, Jack Jarvis Jr. and wife Sherry of Saluda, NC and Frank Steven Jarvis and wife Kate of Saluda, NC; two daughters, Brenda Jarvis of Hendersonville and Linda Scillia and husband Michael of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla; one sister, Bernice; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 6:00 pm Tuesday, June 05, 2007 at the Chapel In The Pines of Jackson Funeral Service with Rev. Glenn Camp officiating. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to services in chapel. Military taps and flag folding will be performed by the Henderson County Honor Guard.
