Thomas L. Jackson, 67, of Hendersonville, NC, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, April 6, 2006 at his home. He was a native and lifelong
resident of Henderson County, the son of Helen Hill Jackson of Edneyville and the late Kelly L. Jackson. He retired from Duke Power after over 35 years of service, was a member of Balfour Baptist
Church and loved his family. Surviving in addition to his mother is his loving wife of 34 years, Stella C. Jackson; a son, Kevin Jackson and wife Emily of Midland, GA; a daughter, Laurie Fox of
Hendersonville; a brother, Roger Jackson and wife Micki of Hendersonville; three sisters, Beatrice Kerr of Hendersonville, Evelyn Splawn and husband Aubrey of Edneyville and Carolyn Ferguson and
husband Jim of Columbia, SC; three grandchildren, Trint Phillips and Emma and Kate Jackson; one great granddaughter, Shelby Phillips and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held
three pm Sunday, April 9, 2006 at Balfour Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:00 pm
Sunday at the church and at other times will be at the home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Baptist Children's Homes of North Carolina at: PO Box 338, Thomasville, NC 27360 or to
the Balfour Baptist Church Building Fund at:2502 Asheville Highway, Hendersonville, NC 28791. Jackson Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
