She was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County the daughter of the late Harlie G. Jones and Larret Pace Jones, was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Andrew Jackson and a brother, Obet Sylvester Jones.
Stelts was a very busy lady and involved in many activities throughout her life. But of all the things she accomplished, her highest priority was her beloved husband and childhood sweetheart, Lloyd, and her children and grandchildren. She selflessly served each of them until her last days, including making sure their Christmas gifts for this year were taken care of.
She loved her Lord and her church, Mountain View Baptist Church and faithfully served for many years as church organist, pianist, church secretary and clerk until her health would not allow it.
She was very proud of each child and grandchild and supported their dreams and goals in every way possible. She encouraged them and taught them to always give their best to each task. She worked for Duke Power Company and NW Bank while raising her family. She was a longtime member of the Hendersonville County Rescue Squad auxillary and along with her husband, taught community first aid classes.
She truly lived a full purpose-driven life and at Thanksgiving was heard to say she was thankful to still be on this earth and was prayerful that she was still blessing people.
