Phyllis Mae Laughter Jackson, 70, of Hendersonville, NC died Thursday November 17, 2005 at Pardee Care Center. She was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County the daughter of the late Brownlow Laughter and Inez Collins Laughter and was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Jackson. She was a member of Mountain Home Baptist Church and loved her family, dogs, children and fishing. She is survived by a son, Tony Jackson of Edneyville, three daughter, Debbie Jackson Cranford of Edneyville, Deddie Jackson Smith and Martha Jackson Patterson of Rutherfordton, eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 2 pm Sunday November 20, 2006 at Mountain Home Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dale Gilbert and Rev. Chris Pace officiating. The family will be at her home on Saturday. Jackson Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
