Helen Hill Jackson, 88, of Edneyville, NC went to be with the Lord, Friday, November 03, 2006 at her home peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County and the daughter of the late Rome Hill and Amanda Lucilla Stepp Hill and was preceded in death by her husband, Kelly Lyman Jackson, four
sons, Thomas L., Lester, Tony and Keith Jackson, two sisters, her twin, Ruby Merrell and Dollie Jackson. She was a member of and Sunday School teacher at Union Hill Holiness Baptist Church. She is
survived by three daughters, Beatrice Kerr of Hendersonville, Evelyn Splawn and husband Aubrey of Edneyville and Carolyn Ferguson and husband Jim of Columbia, SC one son, Roger Jackson and wife Micki
of Flat Rock; daughter-in-law, Stella C. Jackson of Hendersonville; nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, several nieces and nephews and a special care giver,
her granddaughter, Suzanne Kirtley. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, November 6, 2006 at Mt. Home Baptist Church with Rev. D. G. Jackson officiating. She will lie in state 30 minutes
prior to services in the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Grandsons will be pallbearers. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship building and
will also be at the home. Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to Four Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care: 571 South Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731. Jackson Funeral Service is in charge of
the arrangements.
