Gerald Walter Jackson,65, of Hendersonville, NC passed away suddenly in Erwin, TN on Saturday, October 07, 2006.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County and was the son of Goldie Frisbee Jackson of Hendersonville and the late Grady B. Jackson.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He retired from Cranston Print Works after 39 years of service and attended Fairhaven Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his mother is his loving wife of 45 years, "Pie" Juanita Jackson; two daughters, June Edney and husband Brently of Hendersonville and Geraldine Lamb and husband Dale of Hendersonville; three grandchildren, Justin and Rayce Lamb and Austin Edney and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Bobby Taylor and Rev. Clarence Porter officiating. Pallbearers will be Justin Lamb, Rayce Lamb, Harold Pace, Johnny Pace, Howard Cox, Wilburn Corn and Junior Levi. Honorary pallbearers will be Cranston Machine Printers.
The family will receive friends Monday night from 6:30 to 9:00 pm at Jackson Funeral Service and at other times will be at the home.
Donations may be made to one's favorite charity.
