Betty L. Hyder 80 of Flat Rock passed away Thursday January 18, 2007 at the Elizabeth House. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Talmadge C. Hyder. She was a former employee of J.C. Penney and Henderson County Commissioners. Survivors include a son Richard Hyder and wife Buena, a daughter Pat Redmon five grandchildren, Tim Redmon and wife Cathy, Wendy Redmon, Tony Redmon, Jennifer Sisak and Husband Mark and Scott Hyder and wife Angel, three great grandchildren Chase Redmon and Ean and Lauren Sisak, and a sister Sandy Shaw of Lansing Michigan. She will be greatly missed by all. Memorials may be made to : The Elizabeth House: 511 S. Allen Road Flat Rock NC 28731. No services are planned.
