Donald Robert "Donnie" Hill, 62, of Hendersonville, NC went to a peaceful place on Saturday November 11, 2006. He was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County the son of Wanda Jones Hill and the late Donald Hill. He was a member of the Hendersonville Elks Lodge #1616 and the American Legion Post #77 Surviving in addition to his mother is his beloved friend Gwen Hill; daughter, Heather Hill Buritsch and husband Clay; sister, Suzanne Hill McDowell and husband Gene; grand daughter, Avery Buritsch; 2 nieces, Kim Stewart and Meghan Baker; one great nephew, Cameron Stewart; two aunts and several cousins. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, November 17, 2006 at the Chapel In The Pines of Jackson Funeral Service. The Hendersonville Elks Lodge #1616 will conduct The Elks Rest Ceremony.
