Margaret "Maggie" Edwards of Hendersonville, NC went to sleep in Jesus Saturday, June 16, 2007 at Carillon Assisted Living. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Leon Edwards, two brothers, Ben and Ralph and two sisters, Helen And Owena. She had lived in Henderson County for the past 20 years coming from Monroe, Michigan and was a member of the Hendersonville Seventh Day Adventist Church. She is survived by a son, Gary Edwards of Washington, DC, a daughter, Peggy Vaughn and husband Dave of Hendersonville, four grandchildren, David, Melissa, Rachel and Natalie, five great grandchildren, David, James, Crystal, Josh and Samantha and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, June 23, 2007 at the Hendersonville Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Jorge Baute officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Four Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care, 571 South Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731 or to Carillon Assisted Living, 3851 Howard Gap Road, Hendersonville, NC 28792. Jackson Funeral Service and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
