Kenneth James Chastain, 18, of Hendersonville, NC died Wednesday July 26, 2006 from injuries sustained in a car accident. He graduated from North Henderson High School this past June and planned to take fall classes at Blue Ridge Community College. Some of his favorite past times was to hunt and fish. He was a wonderful loving son, brother and a friend to many. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Fred and Pauline Chastain. Surviving are his parents, April Chastain and Wayne McGraw and James Chastain and Wendie Chastain all of Hendersonville; three brothers, Dustin Atkins, Jeremy Chastain and Chris McGraw all of Hendersonville; three sisters, Ashley Atkins, Whitney Chastain and Angela McGraw all of Hendersonville; one grandmother, Allene Foster of Hendersonville; two great grandmothers, Daisy Laughter and Sally Curtis both of Hendersonville; four aunts, Jessica Van Deltei of Wisconsin, Glenda Spicer of Hendersonville, Donna Massie of Gastonia, NC and Callie Bryan of Granite Falls, NC; two uncles, Jimmy Earley and Wesley Earley both of Hendersonville and several cousins. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday at the Chapel In The Pines of Jackson Funeral Service with Rev. Harold McKinnish officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home and at other times will be at the respective homes of James and Wendie Chastain and April and Wayne McGraw.
