Paul Chandler, 77 of Horse Shoe passed away Saturday November 17, 2007 at the Elizabeth House. He was a lifelong resident of Henderson County, son of the late Oat and Estelle Carrol Chandler and was preceded in death by a brother, Robert. He recycled and was a member of Boyleston Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Daisy June Fox Chandler; one son, John Paul Chandler of Ashtabula, Ohio; three daughters, Sandra Wilson of Rutherfordton, NC, Sharon Fernandini of Etowah, NC and Shelia Chandler of Saluda, NC; one sister, Betty Messer of Brevard, NC; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, November 23, 2007 at Boyleston Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Burress officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services in the church. Donations may be made to Boyelston Baptist Church, 9949 Boyleston Highway, Mills River, NC 28759 or to the Council On Aging. Jackson Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
