Mildred R. Case, 82, of Hendersonville, NC died unexpectedly Tuesday March 7, 2006. She was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, the daughter of the late John L. Case and Ina Jackson Case and was preceded in death by her husband, Allen E. Case, a brother, Clifford "Butch" Case and a sister, Blanche Bishop. She was a lifetime member of Dana United Methodist Church and retired from Kimberly-Clark after 30 years of service. She is survived by her daughter, Jo-Ann Roper and husband Larry of Hendersonville; a brother, Claude Case and wife Pauline of Whittier, NC; a sister, Ruby Cochran of the home; a granddaughter, Melody Roper of Greer, SC and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 3 pm Thursday March 09, 2006 at the Chapel In The Pines of Jackson Funeral Service with Rev. Jack Porter officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 6 to8 pm at the funeral home and at other times will be at her home.
