Jimmie D. Case, 82, of Flat Rock, NC passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at Pardee Care Center. We was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, son of the late George W. Case and Dollie Case. He was a US Army veteran of WW II and a member of Dana Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mae Case of Dana, three sons, Michael Case of Cornelius, NC, Danny Case of Liberty, NC and Randy Case of Snow Camp, NC; two daughters, Linda Myers of Fairbanks, Alaska and Pamela McDonald of Hendersonville, NC; three brothers, Archie Case and Leonard Case both of Dana and Dulus Case of Rosman, NC; two sisters, Dorothy Case of Flat Rock and Mary McCarson of Brevard; sixteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, December 22, 2007 at the Chapel In The Pines of Jackson Funeral Service with Rev. Walt Christian officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Military Honors will be conducted by the Henderson County Honor Guard.
