Margaret Annie Buzzell, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Otis B. Read, passed peacefully from this life at her home in Hendersonville, NC, on February 26, 2007, and is now with the Lord. She was 95. She was married to Rev. David W. Buzzell who served in ministry in Baptist churches in Massachusetts for over forty years: as senior pastor at Market Street Baptist, Amesbury; Maplewood Baptist, Malden; Winthrop Street Baptist, Taunton, and as associate pastor at First Baptist, Malden. Her husband David passed away in 1985. Margaret worked as assistant librarian at Wheaton College, (Norton, MA) and Tufts University (Medford, MA). She was later receptionist and advertising secretary at Samuel Cabot, Inc., Boston, for fourteen years. She is survived by three sons, David Read and Patricia Buzzell of Greenville, SC; Robert A. and Gretchen Buzzell of Marietta, GA; and Paul E. Buzzell of Simpsonville, SC; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 10, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Hendersonville First Baptist Church, 312 Fifth Avenue West, Hendersonville, NC 28739. She will be buried alongside her husband David on Wednesday, March 14, 2007, 2:00 pm at Greenwood Cemetery, Biddeford, Maine.
