Dorothea E. Beekman, 1820 Pisgah Drive, Hendersonville, died December 26, 2006. She was the daughter of the late Carl O. and Helen C. Ranck, Boston Mass. She was the widow of Robert L. Beekman, who died in 1987.She was predeceased by three sisters, Marjorie Ready of Cincinnati, Ohio; Rita Ridgway of Salem, Massachusetts; and Edna Hewitt of Parrish, Florida. She was of the Catholic Faith, was a member of Madonna Blue Cross Circle, and was a housewife. Survivors include a brother, Richard J. Ranck and his wife, Molly, of Ft. Myers, Florida; a nephew James Clark and his wife, Janice, of Urbana, Ohio, several other nieces and nephews and her friend, Nancy Miller, of Hendersonville. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday March 25, 2007 at 9 am at The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Inurnment will be in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree, Mass. Jackson Funeral Service and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
