Sue Marshall Ballard, 56, of Tuxedo, NC went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 15, 2006 at Park Ridge Hospital. She was a native and lifelong resident of Henderson County the daughter of the late Ivory Flay and Bell Jones Marshall and was preceded in death by her husband, T. B. Ballard and a granddaughter, Sonya Ballard. She was co-founder of Ballard Motors Company founded 1957, owned and operated Chadwick Florist and currently worked as office manager at Whitey's Auto Auction. She was a member of Bobs Creek Baptist Church. Surviving is her brother, James O'Neal "Jim" Marshall and wife Carolyn of Edneyville; two nieces Robin Pridmore of Hendersonville and Cindy Jackson of Dana; one great niece, Tiffany McCraw of Dana; one great-great niece, Kaitlyn McCraw; four step grandchildren, four step great grandchildren and two aunts, Wilma Moore of Flat Rock and Jody King of Hendersonville. A funeral service will be held three pm Tuesday April 18, 2006 at the Chapel In The Pines of Jackson Funeral Service with Rev. Bobby Capps officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:50 pm prior to services in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Four Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care at 571 South Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
