Billy Ray Lindsey, 73 of Hendersonville went to be with the Lord and his parents on Thursday March 20, 2008. He was the son of the late Ben and Pearl Travis Lindsey and was preceded in death by his brother Buddy Lindsey and his sister Rita Mae Braden. A native of Knoxville TN, he had been a resident of Hendersonville for the past 30 plus years. He retired after 50 years of faithful service from APAC and was a man who truly loved life and was loved and will be missed by his daughters. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his three daughters; Patricia Gail Lindsey of Vermont, Tammy Cagle of FL, and Sharon Nelson and her husband Christopher of GA; One sister Bobbie Hodge " Wright" of TN; Four grandchildren, Dominic Puleo and Leslie Hill both of TN, Zackery and Trevor Nelson both of GA; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2008, 2pm, at the Volunteer Grange on Tipton Station Road in Knoxville, TN.
