Marijane Kelley Johnson, 61, of Hendersonville, NC and formerly of Lawton, Oklahoma and Rockville, Connecticut passed away peacefully at her home Wednesday, April 02, 2008 at her home. She was the daughter of the late George and Mary Margaret Kelley. She served in the US Army during Operation Desert Storm in Iraq. She was very proud of her work and spent her whole life as a nurse and was of the Catholic faith. She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, John Johnson; two children, Leanne and Johnny Johnson both of Hendersonville; a sister, Pegeen Forbes of Hendersonville; three brothers, Michael of Rhode Island, David of Fredricksburg, VA and Bernard of Rockville, CT and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 10:00 am Monday, April 07, 2008 at the Chapel In The Pines of Jackson Funeral Service with Father Seibo officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery with Military honors being conducted by the Henderson County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services in the chapel.
