Lonnita J. Engle, 60, of Hendersonville, passed away suddenly and is in the hands of the Lord on Monday, February 18th, 2008 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Mae King and John Lanning and the wife of Ronnie Engle of Hendersonville and was predeceased by a brother. Survivors in addition to her husband include a daughter, Kristie Calzado and her husband, Jerry of Maryland, a sister Evelyn Wilson of Hendersonville, two grandchildren, Leyton and Tanner Calzado of Maryland and several nieces. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Friday, February 22, 2008 at Oakdale Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Kirby officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Jackson Funeral Service and following at the home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Memorials and Tributes Processing Center, PO Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058 Jackson Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
