Catherine {KAY} G. Bradley, 81, passed away peacefully at her daughters home in Fletcher ,on Thursday, May 15, 2008. She was the daughter of the late Victor and Catherine Collins Codella and wife of the late Reed Bradley who died in 2004 after 54 years of marriage. She was preceded in death by three brothers John, William and Ralph Codella and two sisters Terry Dooner and Mary Codella. Born in Miami Fla., she retired with her husband to NC in 1989. Kay and Reed enjoyed a wonderful retirement traveling, going on cruises, playing golf and bridge. Kay became a Bridge Life Master in 1985. They especially enjoyed sharing their retirement life with all the good friends they made over the years. Survivors include her daughter Karen Proctor and her husband John; her son Stephen Bradley and his wife Virginia; three grandchildren Jimmy, Sarah and Michael and two great grandchildren Jessica and Trevor. A memorial service will be held Thursday May 22, 2008 at 3pm at St. Johns in the Wilderness. Following the service there will be a celebration of her life at Kay's home in Hendersonville.
